Marbella Paris, a specialist in skin jewelry, has adapted its production techniques to packaging to adorn Champagne Beaugrand’s blanc de blancs with Swarovski crystals.
For Valentine’s Day, Champagne Beaugrand and Marbella Paris teamed up for a limited-edition coffret housing a bottle of champagne and a piece of skin jewelry. Swarovski crystals are affixed by hand to the champagne’s dark-colored bottle. Marbella Paris’ logo is reproduced using gold-colored crystals near the base, while the central motif echoes the interlocking design of the brand’s Amour Eternel skin jewel that is also nestled in the coffret.
Inspired by an endless knot, Amour Eternel is designed to resemble a flower with interlocking petals. While the jewel adorning the bottle is securely fixed in place, Marbella Paris’ skin jewel can be worn time and time again thanks to the brand’s dermo-adhesive technology. Also included in the coffret, which retails at €95, is a “Gloss” that is conceived to extend the lifespan of the jewel.
Marbella Paris’ skin jewelry is created by hand in its workshops in France, using materials including lace, leather and metal. Its upcoming collections will use gold leaf and semi-precious stones, such as lapis lazuli. And beyond skin adornments, the brand is keen to highlight how its designs can be adapted to packaging – for wines & spirits but also for cosmetics and fragrances. A collaboration around a lipstick is in the pipeline and other projects are planned for this year.
