One man found dead during welfare check in city’s northeast

A 50-year-old man was found dead in a northeast home on Sunday afternoon. As Taylor Braat reports, the death has been deemed suspicious by police.

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are investigating a homicide in the city’s northeast.

Officers responded to a call at a home in Winston Heights during a welfare check to find a man believed to be in his 40s or 50s dead.

Investigators say that the death is potentially suspicious.

Sections of 28 Street NE have been shut down while the investigation continues.
