One man found dead after Calgary apartment fire

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Investigators are trying to determine what caused a deadly fire in northwest Calgary.

The blaze broke out around 2:30 Sunday morning in an apartment complex at 6651 Ranchview Drive.

The entire building, with two dozen suites, was evacuated.

After putting out the flames, firefighters discovered a man’s body in one of the units.

There’s no word yet on what may have caused the fire.
